Each year, one business person is selected by renowned business leader Lord Alan Sugar, in earlier years to join his team and more recently, to start a business in partnership with him, as part of the TV series The Apprentice.
But where are the previous years’ winners now?
Using business accounts data filed with Companies House and found through Company Check, here’s an update on where the series’ winners are now:
Tim Campbell: 2005

Tim was the very first winner of The Apprentice and joined Lord Sugar (then Sir Alan)’s team in 2005, where he stayed for two years before co-founding the Bright Ideas Trust, a foundation set up to support young entrepreneurs from disadvantaged backgrounds. Bright Ideas filed a net worth of £121,705 in 2014.

Michelle Dewberry: 2006

Yorkshire born Michelle was the second ever winner of The Apprentice, beating the ‘great-for-TV’ Ruth Badger to the top spot.
Michelle is one of only two winners (alongside Stella English) to leave her job with Lord Sugar prior to the end of the initial 12 month contract. She now runs Michelle Dewberry Limited, a business and management consultancy based in London which filed a net worth in 2014 of £137,995, with £187,620 cash in the bank.

Lee spent 2 years working for Lord Sugar’s company Amstrad on ‘digital signage’ before setting up his recruitment agency Raw Talent Academy. Yasmina beat bookie’s favourite Kate Walsh to win a job in the Amscreen healthcare division for Lord Sugar, where she worked alongside Sugar’s son for two years. Today, she is the Global New Markets Director for OnePoint Global, a ‘mobile first’ market research company.
