The latest iteration of Company Check was released in September this year. The updated UI was based on a series of user tests and a lot of user data taken from over 3 million site users per month to ensure that the site is as easy and quick to use as possible.
The new interface has now been fully rolled out across the UK. User feedback and usage data suggests the changes have been a real improvement:
- User registrations are up 53%
- Dashboard usage is up 111%
- Traffic is up 6%
- Page views are up 15%
- Bounce rate is down 8%
- Number pages per session are up 10%
- Accounts data exports up 20%
It’s hugely important to a business like Company Check, which only serves its customer online, to ensure that the online experience is as close to perfect as possible. This means we are constantly measuring and updating, so our users get a seamless, quick and easy service from us.

The roll out for the UK is now complete, and we’ll be running further tests of the platform over the next 2 months to improve performance further still.
Company Check European roll out
Company Check is the UK’s most widely used source of business data and in 2016, we plan to roll it out to European countries too, giving them the same opportunity to check the financial background of their clients and suppliers as UK businesses have had since 2011.
Throughout the year, the platform will become available to one new country every two months for all of 2016, starting in April. It’s an ambitious target but one which I’m sure the fantastic team of people at Company Check will achieve.
